Privacy Policy

Starseeds Press (“we”, “us”) is an independent publishing house in Los Altos, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through starseedspress.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Messages and submissions. When you email us — including a manuscript submission — we receive your email address, any details you include and any files you attach.
• Our newsletter. When you ask to join our list, we collect your email address.
• Technical data. Like any website, our host receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so that the site loads and stays secure.

How we use it

We use your messages to reply to you, and your submission to consider your work. We use newsletter addresses to send occasional news about our books, launches and events, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe. Technical data is used only to deliver and protect the website.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information. This website does not show advertising and does not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.

Who handles your data

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website, and Google Workspace runs our email. They process information only to provide those services. Our books are sold through Amazon; links to Amazon and other websites lead to services with their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and submissions for as long as we need them to respond and to run the press. We keep newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@starseedspress.com. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law; contact us and we will respond.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
